travel europe italy tuscany florence horse carriage ride

My wife Lynn wanted to treat the grandkids to a horse carriage ride around Florence.
The lady who drove the carriage was nice and she did have some history to tell about some of the things we saw.
However, even for the kids, the novelty wears off quickly and as far as the sights are concerned, its easier to see them on foot.
My vote would be to save the 40 Euros for something else.
